Cathing sucks I did it for awhile I got a bad bladder infection So I quiot Doctors just hummed but didn't ask me to start again Now I take Cran berry pills 2 pills= 4 glasses o crnberry juice concentratr I have never had any more bladder infections

Ive heard about the pills so i will try and find where i can buy them, Im not a lover of cranberry juice tho

no more problems and also drink cranberry juice daily .

Im also on 1 antibiotic a day but i think my body becomes imune so i have to get checked regular in future so i dont end up in the dreaded hospital..

I have a prolapsed bladder and urine retention. I will be having surgery in a few weeks (hysterectomy, etc.). The urologist has told me I have to decide on a suprapubic catheter (internal) or Foley catheter (external).
Has anyone had experience with one or the other. What was your experience?

I had infections and bladder spasms from foley cath but we are all different. I now self cath.
